Privacy Policy for Basic Calculator

Basic Calculator ("the app") is part of the Computo suite of calculator apps. This page explains what data the app collects and how it is used.
Information We Collect
- Account information — if you sign in, we collect the identifiers provided by Firebase Authentication (e.g. email address, or your sign-in provider's account ID).
- Calculation history — if you are a premium subscriber and enable cross-device sync, your saved calculator history is stored in our database (Firebase Firestore) tied to your account so it can sync across your devices.
- Diagnostics — crash reports and performance data are collected automatically via Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Performance Monitoring to help us fix bugs and improve app speed.
- Usage analytics — anonymous usage events (e.g. screens viewed, features used) are collected via Firebase Analytics.
- Advertising data — the app shows ads via Google AdMob, which may collect an advertising identifier and other data to serve and measure ads. See Google's policy below.
How We Use Information
- To provide core app features (calculators, saved history, premium sync).
- To diagnose crashes and improve app stability and performance.
- To understand feature usage and improve the app.
- To serve advertising that helps keep the free version of the app available.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Data is shared only with the service providers used to operate the app:
Data Retention & Deletion
Calculation history is retained until you delete it in-app or delete your account. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us using the email below.
Children's Privacy
Computo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
