Wordstep ("the App") is developed and operated by an independent developer. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects and how it is used when you use Wordstep.
Wordstep does not require account registration and does not collect personally identifiable information directly from you. Your player name and chosen avatar are stored only on your device and are never transmitted to us. The App may use third-party services that collect information used to identify you, as described below.
Your game progress, stats, achievements, and coin balance are stored locally on your device using an on-device database. This data stays on your device and is not uploaded to any server we operate.

Wordstep can send local reminder notifications (e.g. daily streak reminders) directly from your device. These notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on-device and do not involve sending your data to any server.
When you use the App, standard log data such as device type, operating system version, and crash logs may be collected automatically to help diagnose and fix issues.
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by the third-party services listed above. We do not sell your personal information.
